about

This song started out as a song for a TV show and I decided to add some solos and drums to it for this project. I wanted each of the three guitar solos to have a really distinct feel from each other, like three different players were playing them. First is a slide solo, the second is more of a single coil sound, and the third is a more saturated/distorted solo. I wanted this to sound wide and expansive and be tasteful and melodic, partly because I can't really shred, hahaha. I also had fun with the title calling it Stratosphere meanwhile there is not one Stratocaster on this track.
