I wrote this song in the early ‘90s after buying a Korg X3 keyboard with built in sequencer. Although it’s not prevalent throughout the track, the X3 was my inspiration. I sequenced Keys, bass and drums on the X3 and later replaced all but the keys with real musicians. As with most of my instrumentals, the goal was to have some shredding intermingled with a great melody, creating a song that may appeal to more than just guitar players.
